What type of vegetables can I feed my rabbit?

Rabbits can eat most vegetables but you should really stick to dark, leafy greens for your rabbit such as romaine lettuce, baby gem lettuce, curly lettuce, Chinese lettuce and herbs.

Parsley is a huge hit with most rabbits!

However, be careful with vegetables which contain too much sugar e.g carrots as this can cause obesity in your rabbits.

Another thing to watch out for is calcium content as some rabbits are very prone to bladder issues and feeding vegetables such as kale can cause a calcium build up in the bladder which can be very uncomfortable for your rabbit and will require a diet change and sometimes a vet trip if it is very serious.
